Company Timeline
Dreamstar Cash was founded by Steve Matthyssen in 2003 focused on creating/managing Adult sites. Internet was just becoming widespread and it was clear that Adult content was in high demand. The first employee did not join the company until 2004, and the first full time developer was not to arrive till 2006 (He admits that waiting that long for the first full time developer was the single biggest mistake in the company’s history).
In 2005 Steve attended his first Conference in Las Vegas, this was to be the first time he’d finally meet most people in person and where he would start to establish the foundation upon which he would build his rock solid reputation.
During those first few years Steve was kept busy hacking together scripts and templates, managing content, acquiring traffic and pretty much every other webmaster task imaginable while also managing all business aspects. That initial startup mentality/approach to getting stuff done still forms a major part of the company culture to this day.
Over the years Dreamstar Cash has moved office 4 times, grown to a team of nearly 20 people and managed to build a network of sites that handle over 3,5 Million Visitors per Day and is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities and business models to explore.
