 One of my personal obsessions is to make sure we create one of the best working environments possible which allows everyone to achieve their maximum potential with their individual skill sets. We are always either looking forward or already working on the “next big thing” which has ensured we always have an exciting vibe going on at the office

Steve founded Dreamstar Cash in 2003 and since then has taken it from a one-man-band to an almost 20 strong team that has built sites with millions of visitors a day. His initial primary role as webmaster has slowly transformed and he now finds himself focused on business development, strategy and defining the direction of Dreamstar Cash.

He founded the company straight out of University (Mediterranean University Of Science and Technology) where he did his BSC in Business Administration.

He admits to being a bit of a petrol-head. In 2010 he competed for the first time in the MINI Challenge Spain where he placed a highly respectable P7 for his rookie season, and now has his sights set on racing Porsche GT3!

Alfonso – Agile Web Developer

Turning caffeine into code

I joined the company in Jan 2012, by when the team already achieved impressive things.
My main mission here is to write quality, reliable and test proven code that hopefully goes live and runs in huge traffic environments. Being part of this great team where everybody is happy to share one another’s knowledge helps make the things easier. The chance to help in the development of this great project is a challenge and a constant motivation. My other mission and motivation here is to beat all of the team members in the tennis table tournaments.

Brian – Web Designer

Photoshop is “the best” friend I ever knew!

I‘ve been with DreamstarCash for almost 4 years now and I still love everyday I work with them. My main goal is to satisfy the teams design cravings. Every site design is a challenge for me. Thanks to the whole team, my Photoshop creations come to life.

Damian – DevOps

Working here is a great joy from a technology perspective.  

After many years of development, as DevOps, I am in a very exciting position here, responsible for the scientific and technological issues within the company. My role entails maintaining the development teams knowledge, happiness, focus and quality, research and development of future technologies, the development of ideas to further the company objectives and generally aiding business development from a technical angle.

David – Product Owner

Well, this is something different for me!

As ‘Product Owner’ – I’m the one who turns the users, and the businesses, requirements into deliverable chunks of functionality for our excellent development team to work on – all in an Agile way of course. Roughly translated, this means I make sure people are viewing porn in the best ways, and in as many ways, as possible. In truth the majority of the work is about developing software (the same thing I’ve been doing for over 20 years) to deliver massive amounts of content to a huge amount of concurrent users – but I have to say the demo’s can be enlightening!

Fran – Agile Web Developer

I like to do things for human kind. 

Some people help in Non-Governmental organisations, I make porn available for everyone! The world needs that! Beside that, we play some good table tennis here and i believe it wont be long before we look like those crazy badass Chinese players.

Javi – QA / Program coordinator aka ‘BugBoy’

I reduce entropy

I am the guy that picks that functionality and finds why can not be released, thinking in crazy weird tests! Fortunately, I work with a fantastic team of profesional developers who convert my feedback in great final results! I also check how practices like TDD or BDD are done, ensuring a Continuous Integration server operational for the automation requirements. My QA role goes out of the applications themselves, ensuring the good health of PO ideas from when I know they exist until they are a real, coordinating the workflow. As Scrum Master, I have responsabilities like ensuring people is not blocked or driving the necessary meetings and practices for learning from possible past mistakes so they wont happen anymore!

Jeremy – General  Webmaster

I cannot drive a segway but I know how to keep our sites flowing with new and fresh content!

I’ve been working at Dreamstarcash now since 2007 and it’s totally true that time does fly when you’re having so much fun. It will soon be Christmas. I work all day making sure the sites and team stay right on the edge of fresh, new content to please our surfers. Keeping in contact with all our Sponsors to ensure they get the best from our marketing skills and there content is shown to the highest standard.

From gate crashing 4Tube’s party to celebrate breaking into Alexa’s top 500 while on holiday in Alicante in August 2009 to joining the team at Dreamstar Cash in January 2012, it has been quite a journey for me. My name is JT and I was a Director/Partner of YouPorn.com. I am very excited to be back in the hot seat. Having already built what was the biggest adult tube site on the internet, having the opportunity to do it again with PornTube is exciting! I am very impressed with the ever growing team here at Dreamstar Cash. As for my office nickname, it’s ok, I asked him and he said its fine

Nancy – ERP Specialist

At the moment I got in, at the start of 2012, there was a huge change going on at the accounting department. Trying to get all financial data in a whole new ERP system, meaning configuring the system, putting in the data and getting it all squared. This job fits me like a glove. And with all the movement going on here I think ‘ll never outgrow it. Being able to do your job and feeling appreciated makes it even better.

Natalie – Executive Assistant

I’m the lube that keeps this place running smoothly!

Cake for one of our launch parties? Got it covered. Venue for our thursday beers? I know them all. Apartment for one of our new team members? I’ll help them find the perfect place. Decorate the office for halloween? Done. Anything and everything to keep this office ticking over. I love working in an environment where there are always possibilities to grow professionally and personally, also there’s a distinct “family” vibe between all the staff which I love.

Pablo – UX Developer

I am obsessed with turning our web apps into toys that everybody will love to play with!

My main responsability is to ensure that our users and partners will enjoy easy-to-use web applications, crafted to fulfill the highest usability user expectations. My tasks encompass from defining the user experience throughout all our web apps, to designing the overall scaffolding of our UI, and instructing our seasoned designers on how to accomplish the desired look and feel of all our web ventures. My tasks also entail setting the standards for our client-side coding, with regards to grids, layout practices and UI frameworks currently in use, which ensure our code complies with the industries best practices and takes advantage of the latest state-of-the art HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript formal recommendations.

I’ve been with DSC for a couple of years and my job concentrates on the search and tagging elements of the CPP content to keep you all happy.  I like to think that when you search for the content you want, you’re gonna find it… I know, you’re welcome.

Rodney – Operations Manager

I always wanted to work somewhere that offered me a new challenge everyday!

Although I´ve know Steve for around 7 years now, I’ve only recently (July 2010) been working with him full time, and loving it so far. Before joining Dreamstar Cash I’d never worked in the Adult Industry, I have a background in ERP implementation and Business Intelligence as well dabbling on the side with SEO. All of these skills have proven very useful in my role as Operations Manager and help me deal with the fast pace required to stay ahead of the game.

Ryan aka ‘Tazmanian Ryan’ - SysAdmin & Developer

I’m one of the code monkeys who’s had the privilege of being part of an ever growing, ever improving company. I’m also the company sysadmin/DBA, on call 24/7/365 keeping the servers alive and making sure we continue to serve the masses. In addition I help mentor the team and help Damian (DevOps) with the end goal to make us one of the best, and most technologically advanced companies out there. I pride myself on the quality and speed of my work, earning the nickname Tazmanian Ryan for my response times. I’ll quite happily get a call at 4am to do some emergency coding or maintenance, and always strive to make sure we improve the already high quality of our code and infrastructure.
